E-Z Eastern Carts Return & Exchange Policy
Before you unwrap your parts double check your fitment and once unwrapped, look the item over before trying to install it. We want every customer to be 100% satisfied with their purchase and know that all parts are fully warranted by the manufacturer.
Damages & Warranties
Damaged Shipments: Do not accept delivery from the carrier if the box has been damaged. If you can snap a picture of the damage and notify us ASAP we can replace the order right away. If you find shipping damage while opening your package be sure to keep all packing material and the shipping box so we can open a claim for you. Notify us right away so we start the process.
Missing Items or Wrong Item Received: Keep the box, packing material, and all shipped parts and contact us right away.
Warranties: All products are warranted against manufacturer’s defects. Increasingly, many of our manufacturers handle claims directly to speed up the process of exchange or sending replacement parts. We’re happy to step in and get the ball rolling. Electronic parts must go back to the manufacturer for bench testing. Because issues are often solved over the phone with tech support, call the manufacturer first and be sure to get the name of whoever you speak with if you need to contact us.
Resolution Process: Calling us at 410-451-5181 during business hours (8:00-5:00 pm EST) will get the resolution process going right away. After hours please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we know first thing in the morning there is a problem and we will contact you promptly.
Returns & Exchanges Within 30 Days of Purchase
New Items: This describes brand new, unopened, completely factory sealed packaging and product with factory packaging and tags, not torn, greasy, stained, or written on so it can be resold as retail new. Items can be returned for exchange or refund. There will be no restocking fee (only our original shipping costs) if the item is returned within 30 days and is in brand new condition. Buyers are responsible for shipping costs back to us.
Open Box Items: Refers to the condition of ‘new items’ as described above but the factory packaging has been opened or shows signs of handling. Unlike other online stores, we are willing to take these items back if you are willing to accept the fact there may be a restocking fee (up to 20%) since it will have to be sold as ‘open box’ and discounted accordingly. Opened electronic parts, fuel management systems, and exhaust systems having foam adhesive removed, are not eligible for return. Buyers are responsible for shipping costs back to us. All open box items must be sent back in the original manufacturer's packaging. Returns will not be accepted if we cannot authenticate an item that is missing this packaging.
Used Items: Unless an item is deemed by the manufacturer to be defective, we do not accept any returns on used items. This includes but is not limited to items showing signs of installation or attempted/improper installation (mounting marks, scratches, scuffs), mounted tires/wheels, windshields, discolored exhaust, programmed fuel tuners, bluetooth/communication devices, apparel, items installed contrary to manufacturer’s specifications, seats, etc. We are in the business of selling first quality, factory sealed and new parts and do not have an outlet for selling customer’s used items.
Special Ordered Parts: Can only be returned if it fits the criteria of “New Item” and is returned within 30 days of purchase. Because these parts have to be shipped back to the distributor, all returned special orders will carry a full 20% restocking fee. Buyers are responsible for shipping costs back to us.
Resolution Process: If you want to return new or open box items please visit our web site, www.easternperformance.com, look for the returns tab and fill out the form to receive an RMA number. Keep in mind that no returns will be accepted without this number and that every item is unpacked and inspected upon delivery.
Restocking Fees: Restocking fees are applied against open box items. You may be asked to provide pictures. New items returned for exchange may require a reship fee depending on our shipping costs. New items returned for refund will have Eastern Performance’s shipping cost deducted from the refund.
Condition of Returns Upon Arrival: Items must be received back to Eastern Performance with all original packaging, parts, and instructions. If we shipped you an item inside a protective shipping box it must also be returned to us inside a secure shipping box. Improper packaging may result in denial of any type of refund. Writing on, sealing with duct tape or electrical tape, or unremovable shipping labels decrease the value of the item.
